About Us

Science popularization was not a totally new concept to the people of west bengal in 1986 when Paschimbanga vigyan mancha ( PBVM ) started function . The dozens of our renaissance were involved in this social reform work even in early nineteen century . The only difference is that PBVM initiated and organized people science movement. More than three decade has passed since its inception and now no one will denay that PBVM is a name in this field of science popurarisation not in west bengal but also in india . We ACHARYA JAGADISH CHANDRA BASU VIGYAN MELA is honoured to be part of paschimbanga vigyan mancha the largest people science movement . This science fair was started from 2019 . We are proud to say that various people from different field work togather to make this fair a grand success.
